This is our favorite Mexican food spot in Fairfield and surrounding areas for Quesabirria tacos and their Molcajetes. Their consome is to die for. Their Molcajetes earn their name, the cactus and sauce is amazing, as well as their huge pieces of carne asada. They can be a hit or miss at times, with the food or service, I would say 90% of our experiences here are good. I think they just changed up their salsas, which are good. My son had the chicken burrito last, he liked it, I tried it and did not, the chicken in it was dry and bland. We are tired of disappointment with surrounding Mexican food spots so come here for to avoid that. La Donna is our second favorite spot in the area.

Love their food very flavorful and the staff is very friendly and food is made fast I love the way they cook their carne asada.

Went here on a Monday night. The place was not very busy. Upon arrival we were greeted by a young lady and were told to pick a table. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating looks very nice. They have televisions and good music playing. A friend and I decided to get a molcajete. These are spicy but you can ask to have it not too spicy. The portions are huge and you get rice and beans on the side with tortillas. The food came out fairly quick and it was delicious. Customer service was great very attentive to our needs. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the restroom is behind the restaurant and they have no soap dispenser to was hands, so it makes me wonder how employees are washing hands before returning to work, other than that I would most likely return and definitely recommend.

Got the asada fries and they were so damn good. Their burritos and ceviche are so good too

My first time. I ordered two al pastor burritos with light beans, no rice, pico de gallo and hot sauce. My picky husband was very happy ( he is Mexican)! I had 3 tacos de tripas con todo. Best ever!!! My daughter had a bean and cheese burrito and loved it. When you walk into an "ethnic" restaurant and the only customers are of that ethnicity-that is a good sign! Food was great, service was great, I will make this a "go to" for Mexican food!

You cannot miss this bright yellow brick building standing along N Texas st. and if you havent tried it, you are definitely missing out! Inside is lively, bright and clean. there is patio and inside dining. wait Staff is friendly. Prices are fair for the amount of food. Free chips with pico and salsa is always a plus in my book. Chips n salsa - chips is how i like it, thin crispy and not heavy. salsa was spicy and pico was ok. gratis Carnitas, asada and chorizo tacos. - very generous amount of meat. All delicious. served with grilled onion, grilled jalapeño , radish and lime. Alambres plate - You get what you ordered. Carne cooked in bacon grease with bacon, grilled peppers and cheese. how can you go wrong? rice was ok. black beans was ok. (I do remember their refried beans being bomb tho) served with your choice of corn/flour tortilla. served with grilled jalapeño, pico and green onion. i just wish they didn't fake me with cabbage under my guac. i see you. Delicious food, lively ambiance, good service. reasonable price. Whenever I'd take anyone out for Mexican food, this would be a top choice.
